Getting Started

Open Clinic in the sidebar. The Clinic Dashboard summarises today’s appointments, admissions, and open lab orders.

Your organisation’s facility type (clinic, hospital, surgery centre, dental practice, or multi-specialty) determines which menu items appear.

Appointments

Booking an appointment

1. Go to Clinic → Appointments → Appointment List.
2. Create a new appointment with patient, provider, date, and reason.
3. Confirm and notify the patient as per your process.

Waitlist

When slots are full, add patients to the Waitlist. Move them to a confirmed appointment when space opens.

Patients

Register and search patients under Clinic → Patients. Each patient record links to appointments, EMR encounters, lab orders, and billing.

Electronic Medical Records

Encounters

Document each visit under EMR → Encounters. Record history, examination findings, diagnosis, and plan.

Templates

Use EMR → Templates for standard note structures — speeding documentation while keeping consistency.

Medical history

View longitudinal history under EMR → Medical History.

Laboratory

Ordering tests

1. Open Lab → Lab Orders from a patient or encounter.
2. Select tests from the Test Catalog.
3. Submit the order and print collection labels if needed.

Sample tracking

Track specimens through collection, processing, and result entry under Sample Tracking.

Billing and Insurance Claims

Raise patient bills and submit Insurance Claims where applicable. Claims link to encounters and insurer requirements.

Teleconsultation

Run virtual consultations from Teleconsult → Virtual Lobby. Patients join from their invitation link; clinicians conduct the session from the lobby screen.
